The course which was originally designed by James Braid, has been developed over the years to become the established course it is today.
The cliff top links course which overlooks the South of England’s stunning Jurassic Coast and Axmouth Nature Reserve, Axe Cliff presents a distinctive and varied challenge to golfers of all abilities.
Due to the location of the course, the self draining grounds enable the course to operate year-round without the need of winter greens and forced closing due to wet conditions, and buggies are operational throughout the year.
The course has many feature holes, which test both the experienced and beginners, and once tried will be a challenge that you wish to repeat again and again.
Axe Cliff has also recently completed a refurbishment of their clubhouse to provide a warm, welcoming and well-appointed environment in which to savour an array of fine foods and beverages.
