The Carrick on Loch Lomond’s Doug Carrick-designed golf course is a true marvel. Using every inch of the dramatic landscape that straddles the fault lines between the Scottish Lowlands and Highlands, the elevated holes offer spectacular views of Loch Lomond to the West and Ben Lomond to the North. The nine holes which meander through the Lowlands flow along the banks of the Loch, while the back nine is set in the Highlands and provides spectacular panoramas across one of the best vistas in golf. The course boasts a variety of exciting challenges, such as the various lagoons located around the course and 118 cunningly positioned bunkers. Having hosted several prestigious events, including the Ladies’ Scottish Open and the PGA Cup, the venue’s championship pedigree is testament to its supreme quality. The Carrick also boasts a team of PGA professionals and its adjoining teaching academy offers a range of packages for all levels of abilities as well as a unique practice facility complete with an island green in the middle of a lagoon to test the most accomplished of golfers.
