Length: 6,194 yards Par: 71 Parkland Course

Discerning golfers have been revelling in the thoroughly enjoyable parkland layout at Cochrane Castle Golf Club for over a century. Less than fifteen minutes from Glasgow city centre, located in the hills above the town of Johnstone, the Charlie Hunter-designed course came into being in 1895 and has since matured into a test that requires both considered course management and a deft touch around the green. Though just 6,194 yards in length, in places - such as at the par 5s - power is rewarded, while precision is of paramount importance throughout. From its elevated vantage point in the Craigston area of the town, the course also presents a wonderful panorama that takes in Ben Lomond to the North and the Campsie Hills to the East.
All visitors are invited to enjoy a range of freshly prepared meals and refreshing beverages within the comfortable surrounds
of Cochrane Castle’s well-appointed clubhouse. The club takes every opportunity to present a genuinely hospitable welcome to its guests, and is especially adept at hosting large groups and societies.
