Crieff Golf Club

Ferntower Lodge, Crieff Road, Crieff, Perthshire, PH7 3LR

Telephone: 01764 652397

Website:www.crieffgolf.co.uk

Length: 6,493 yards Par: 71 Parkland Course

Surrounded by the awe-inspiring scenery of rural Perthshire, the picturesque and thoroughly enjoyable course at Crieff Golf Club is situated at the ‘Gateway to the Highlands’. Of the two courses that exist here, the Ferntower is the senior and opens with a stretch of testing holes, including back-to-back par-5s at the fifth and sixth. Influenced by famed golf course architect James Braid, many of its elevated greens are set amongst mature woodland, adding the promise of visually stunning positions from which to approach. The Dornock Course, on the other hand, is perfect for families and beginners as a nine-hole layout with a lesser yardage but some interesting holes nevertheless. Erected in 1991, the club’s centenary year, the clubhouse is purpose-built for society use. Encircled by large windows, it affords a bird’s-eye-view of the course and creates the perfect space for maintaining the friendly atmosphere for which an outing should be remembered. And with its proximity to a host of luxury hotels and charming country inns, Crieff is the ideal base for a longer society stay.
