Playgolf Bournemouth is an attractive parkland golf course situated on the Christchurch/Bournemouth border. It is a fantastic 27-hole golf facility primed to host a whole load of society fun.
The Bridge Course serves up a range of challenges with water coming into play often. The River Stour runs through the course with players crossing the river via a bridge from the 12th to 13th holes. It’s a more traditional layout as a par-72 meadowland course and is fairly flat, relatively physically undemanding and suitable for all ages.
The signature hole is the ninth – a 172-yard par-3 with bunkers guarding the right-hand side and a huge lake snapping up any balls hit left.
Be careful not to be too taken aback by the beauty of the lake and fountain as it will take a very well struck shot to find the putting surface on a well-designed hole that usually plays into the wind.
The par-3 Stour Course, meanwhile, is the ideal place to hone your short game with holes from 80-150 yards. It’s great fun and ideal for juniors and beginners.
We pride ourselves in NEVER being on temporary greens or tee's. In the summer the greens are fast and true providing a challenge for golfers of all abilities.
As well as its golf offering, which includes a multi bay driving range with power tees and professional coaching, Playgolf Bournemouth also has Footgolf – the first of its kind in Dorset. Our brand new dinosaur themed Adventure Golf is arriving soon which is guaranteed fun for the whole family. We have the new American Golf shop and The Kitchen Club restaurant and licensed bar which offers society breakfast and lunch.
