Located in open countryside between the South Yorkshire towns of Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley, the course at Hickleton Golf Club presents an inviting atmosphere and enjoyable test for all golf societies to enjoy.
Ryder Cup players Neil Coles and Brian Huggett designed the current layout, enhancing the original nine-hole course that was founded in 1909. The course has since evolved into one of the finest challenges in the entire county.
An undulating parkland course characterised by tree-lined fairways and greens that are in superb condition virtually all year, a round at Hickleton has the additional highlight of fantastic panoramic views over the surrounding countryside to the Eastern Pennines.
Societies, groups and casual visitors are always afforded a warm welcome at Hickleton Golf Club, whose staff strive to ensure you and your group are looked after throughout your time at the club.
Societies will be glad to hear that there are packages available to suit groups of all sizes and needs, from a simple 18 holes-only deal, to packages of 36 holes that include food and drink before, during and after your round.
