Course Description

Established in 1910, Langley Park’s tight tree-lined fairways provide a tough but fair challenge to even the most serious golfer.Designed by five-time Open champion J.H. Taylor, the club’s reputation is there for all to see. It has been used as a Regional Qualifier for the Open Championship on numerous occasions and is well-known throughout Kent for its exceptional greens.

The course was built as a parkland site and was formerly part of the Goodhart Estate, still retaining much of the original flat terrain that is dominated by many maturing oak trees.

It is a haven of peace and solitude for golfers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of London, which is only 11 miles away, although you certainly wouldn't think that when you begin your round.

Its course measures 6,467 yards from the men’s medal tees and with a standard scratch score of two shots above par, it showcases the challenge Langley Park offers. However the unique Society Card gives visitors the option to increase par on certain longer par 4's to help scoring.

The highlights of the course include the par-4 seventh, which is ranked as the toughest hole on the card, while the round is finished in style with a 148-yard par-3 – where a birdie is a real possibility.

After putting out, be sure to enjoy a meal in the clubhouse, which boasts outstanding floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the course.
