The Montgomery lies in unspoilt parkland bordering Loch Leven. Undulating greens, streams, ponds and enticing tree-lined fairways provide a challenge to low and high handicappers alike.
The Bruce remains a thoroughly enjoyable test of golf. There are not many courses where the outward nine holes is par 39, including a sequence of four par-5s in six holes, punctuated by the infamous pond hole, the sixth.
