The Heritage, designed by perhaps the greatest golfer of all time, Jack Nicklaus, has been the stage of European Tour event The European Masters, while The International is the venue for Open Championship Qualifying until 2014 and has also been the stage of European Tour School in recent years.
The Heritage Course is open only to club members but The International can be played by all and, at just over 7,000 yards from the back tees, it’s not for the feint-hearted.
A classic downland, The International’s long grasses are scenic and punishing in equal measure, flanking quick, undulating fairways that require a links-style approach to navigate.
