The Medal, the more senior of the two layouts, is a natural hybrid of links and heathland, and it bears all of the hallmarks that you might expect from a course of this nature.
It is characterised by deep, revetted bunkers; lush but narrow fairways; and fast, consistent greens that will test any golfer’s game to its fullest capacity.
More compact, the Ashludie places more importance on the aptitude of your short game and offers an enjoyable round in its own right. In fact, such is its quality that the Ashludie has seen a growing number of groups in recent years turning up to play it alone.
