Regarded as one of the premier golfing venues in Scotland, Mortonhall Golf Club is more than equipped to provide a memorable golf day to every society group.
Founded in 1892, the course is the oldest in the City of Edinburgh over which golf is still played today, earning it a long-lasting reputation for the quality of its layout.
Boasting immaculate greens and fairways, as well as towering mature trees and whin-covered outcrops, Mortonhall’s stunning views across the capital only complement its already excellent challenge and style.
A superb championship test, the course has played host to some of Scotland’s most esteemed amateur events, including the Scottish Amateur Strokeplay and Scottish Youths Championship.
Just four miles south of the iconic Edinburgh Castle, Mortonhall also commands views of the surrounding Pentland Hills and Firth of Forth, making a round here all the more pleasurable.
Visitors are always made to feel welcome, with excellent clubhouse facilities, including showers, bar, and full catering meaning Mortonhall can cater for any of your society’s needs.
