Length: 5,912 yards Par: 69 Parkland Course

Located in the shadow of the picturesque Newbattle Abbey, the course at Newbattle Golf Club, first laid out in 1933 by world renowned golf course architect Harry S Colt, provides its guests with an honest test of  their golfing prowess.
A ‘must play’ for anyone visiting Edinburgh and the Lothians, the course ends in a similar vein to how it begins, with holes laid out along a ridge on which the clubhouse stands and on the lower ground along the River Esk.
The rest of this charming course is on the East side of the river, crossed by Maiden Bridge, which has stood for around 500 years and is part of the old coaching road from Edinburgh to London.
Enclosed on every side by woods, which are a sight to behold, you will feel as though you are playing in seclusion, miles away from the bustle of city life.
Aside from the golf, Newbattle offers an extensive range of facilities to the visiting golfer, including first-class changing rooms and a well-stocked pro shop.
The clubhouse boasts a welcoming bar, with catering of such exceptionally high standards that it has earned an excellent reputation.
