Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club

The Hendre, Monmouth, NP25 5HG

Telephone: 01600 715 353

Website:www.therollsgolfclub.co.uk

Length: 6,733 Par: 72 Parkland Course

Situated amidst some of the most stunning scenery not just in Wales, but anywhere in the United Kingdom, the course at the Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club presents a thoroughly enjoyable test accompanied by some of the best views around.
Measuring 6,733 yards from the white tees, the championship course is comprised of two halfs of nine divided by a large wooded hill.
Befitting a championship course of that length, the Rolls of Monmouth requires proficiency with every club in the bag, with each hole purposely designed to challenge each and every aspect of a golfer’s game.
The most memorable test comes late in the round, at the par-4 15th which measures a lengthy 443 yards. A solid strike is required off the tee to reach the apex of a corner that doglegs left. From there an accurate approach is needed to find a green guarded by bunkers.
In addition to the course, there is also the spectacular Manor House, the former home of Charles Stewart Rolls, co-founder of the famous Rolls-Royce company, which is available for private evening functions all year round - perfect for visiting societies.
