Length: 5,772 Par: 70 Woodland Course

The charming nine holes at Ryde Golf Club on the Isle of Wight double up to present a thoroughly enjoyable 18-hole challenge ideal for visiting golf societies.
At 5,772 yards in length, the layout demands precision above power, with many established and newly-planted trees providing obstacles that flank each fairway.
To meet the par of 70, a deft touch around the greens is absolutely necessary, with many of the putting surfaces well-protected by bunkers. The greens themselves are maintained to a high standard throughout the year, and are particularly pacy at the height of summer.
The course comes into its own when you take on the tricky par-3s, each of which provides a distinct, rewarding challenge for golfers of all abilities.
All in all, the parkland course at Ryde Golf Club is a delight to play, meaning you’ll be eager to head back out for a second loop of nine to make it a full 18 holes while trying to better your earlier score.
Societies are invited to take advantage of the clubhouse facilities that present a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy great food and beverage.
