Set in the picturesque countryside on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and with the Howgill Fells providing a magnificent backdrop, the course at Sedbergh Golf Club has been described as one of the most scenic in the North of England.
The course has been professionally designed and constructed, making the most of the natural parkland. With mature trees, streams, ponds and the rivers Dee and Rawthey, each hole provides a different test and proves a memorable round of golf. Whilst only ten holes, each hole has different tee positions to offer a totally different challenge when playing the back nine.
From the course players also enjoy superb scenery, with views of the Howgill Fells, the local dales and of the charming market town of Sedbergh.
The clubhouse, converted from a traditional farm building, offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, where one and all are regularly heard praising the course and, in particular, the USGA specification greens.
