The quality of the venue’s premier layout, the Championship Course, has been illustrated by the fact that Trevose has been chosen to host the prestigious English Golf Union’s Amateur Strokeplay Championship for the Brabazon Trophy. This year, the credentials of this testing track will be further underlined as it plays host to English golf’s stars of the future in The McGregor Trophy.
Designed by the legendary course architect Harry Colt, who was responsible for the extensive re-designs of several Open Rota courses, the Championship Course at Trevose is regarded as one of the finest examples of links golf in the United Kingdom.
The nine-hole Headland Course is an excellent additional test, for those who wish to whet their appetite before heading on to the main test, while the Short Course is ideal for both novices and those looking to hone a deft touch around the greens.
