Course Description

Home of the PGA Open in Yorkshire, Howley Hall proudly proclaims itself a championship course with the best four finishing holes in Yorkshire.

Just minutes from the M62 and M1, it's a great option for golfing societies due to its location and of course, the quality of golf that's on offer.

The club was first founded in 1900, with design improvements on the course advised upon by Dr Alister Mackenzie in 1913.

Once a heathland layout, it is now parkland and is considered to be one of the finest in the county.

Positional play off the tee is rewarded while wayward shots are punished suitably by the trees that line the majority of the fairways throughout the layout.

More improvements have been made to the course in recent years, with the addition of an ornamental pond on the dogleg 12th and the island green approach on the 16th.

The clubhouse has undergone a major refurbishment over the past few years and offers top class views where you can relax for a drink or a meal with your society while looking out over the course and countryside, enjoying the beauty of the natural surroundings.

If you're planning your next break and considering a visit to Yorkshire, Howley Hall Golf Club has to be high on your 'must play' list.
