Course Description

Bishopbriggs Golf Club enjoys an excellent rural environment despite being just a short drive from the city centre of Glasgow. The golf course lies within the boundaries of the original Kenmure Estate and was purchased by Charles Stirling (a West Indian trader) back in 1806, making it one of the most historic courses in the area.

A significant element of policy woodland broad-leaved species oak, ash, beech and so on established at that time still remain today. It is located just five minutes from the centre of town and main transport hubs, making it easily accessible for visitors.

Fully owned by members and run on a non-profit basis, every penny earned at this club is invested back into the golf course and facilities.

The course has a range of tees to provide a fair test for all abilities and can stretch out to 6,262 yards to challenge even the longest of hitters.

The famous Bishopbriggs Burn, which meanders through the course, all adds to an enjoyable and challenging golf experience. With great views of the Campsie Fells and a superb parkland layout that is always in superb condition, this is one of the best society golf venues in the Glasgow area.
