Course Description

The Carrick on Loch Lomond is one of the 'must play’ destinations in Scotland. With its outstanding natural beauty and unrivalled landscape, it is a magical place to play golf.

The course is a strong test throughout, with nine holes meandering through the Lowlands, while the back nine winds up to into higher ground.

The back nine is memorable for its majestic views of Loch Lomond and nowhere is this more evident than the signature par-3 14th hole. As you stand on the elevated tee, 80 feet above the green and with the backdrop of Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond, it is truly a moment to savour for golf enthusiasts. To hit the green requires an accurate, well-struck shot to a well-guarded green.

Voted the Best Resort Hotel in Scotland 2014, Best Clubhouse at the Scottish Golf Tourism Awards in 2015 and 2016 and Best Golf Experience at the 2018 Scottish Outdoor Awards, The Carrick continues to grow as one of Scotland’s best new courses.

The Carrick has already played host to a number of the game’s top pro, having staged the Ladies’ Scottish Open in 2007 and 2008 and the PGA Cup in 2009.
