Course Description

Known locally as “Carmuirs” Falkirk is an ideal course for your golfing day, with easy access from the motorway.

Falkirk Golf Club is an impressive layout with a friendly atmosphere and welcomes visitors. It is a parkland course that has a large variety and an interesting mix of holes.

Societies arriving by coach are pleased to know the car park can accommodate any vehicle. This will allow you to take full advantage of the excellent catering and bar facilities after your game.

There are birdie opportunities on the Par-4, 3rd Hole and Par-5, 8th Hole; greater challenges will face you later. The course is well protected by burns and ponds which help with drainage and greens which give a very true roll and reward good putting.

The last six holes serve up a real test of golf so, make your score before arriving on the 13th, a long uphill Par-3. The next two holes have a burn running between them requiring an accurate tee shot whilst the 17th is a long Par-4 that is very enjoyable to play.

The last is a definite sink or swim hole; for the long hitters, you can have a go at the green in two. If successful you’ll be rewarded, but if you fail, be prepared for the penalty that awaits you.
