Playgolf Bournemouth is a fantastic 27-hole golf facility primed to host a whole load of society fun.
The Bridge Course is the longer of the two 18-hole courses and serves up a range of challenges with water coming into play often. It’s a more traditional layout as a par-72 meadowland course and is fairly flat, with it relatively physically undemanding and suitable for all ages.
The signature hole is the ninth – a 172-yard par-3 with bunkers guarding the right-hand side and a huge lake snapping up any balls hit left.
Be careful not to be too taken aback by the beauty of the lake and fountain as it will take a very well struck shot to find the putting surface on a well-designed hole that usually plays into the wind.
The par-3 Stour Course, meanwhile, is the ideal place to hone your short game with holes ranging anywhere from 80-150 yards. It’s great fun and ideal for juniors and beginners.
As well as its golf offering, which also includes a driving range and professional coaching, Playgolf Bournemouth also has Footgolf – the first of its kind in Dorset.
If you don’t fancy taking to the Bridge or Stour courses, why not combine football and golf on the nine-hole course and enjoy one of the world’s fastest growing sports, which is guaranteed fun for the whole family.
