Course Description

Frilford Heath is located to the south of Oxford on 500 acres of undulating heathland and is one of the best venues in the south of England. Its three championship courses - Red, Green and Blue - present very different challenges.

The Red Course was laid out by five-time Open champion J.H. Taylor. An authentic championship challenge, it offers a traditional heathland experience with pushed-up greens that run fast and true and fairways that demand accuracy.

The classic par-69 Green Course is the shortest. Measuring just over 6,000 yards, it opens with a par-3 but from then on, birdie opportunities are few and far between.

The Blue Course was designed by Simon Gidman and opened in 1994. It’s a par-72 and measures over 6,750 yards from the blacks.

Frilford Heath is the home club of European Tour pro Eddie Pepperell and hosts European Tour Q-School in September.

The EuroPro Tour also visits every June and for fi ve days every spring, the Blue and the Red courses become home to EuroPro Tour Q-School.

The question everybody asks is which course is the best?

Why not join the debate!
