Course Description

Boldmere Golf Club was established in 1936 originally as a nine-hole golf course. The club boasts the oldest pro-am event in Europe, with top professionals joining the competition since it began in 1952. The par at Boldmere is 63 with a total of 4474 yards, although only a short course consisting of 10 par 3’s, 7 par 4’s and 1 par 5, it is found by all who play here to be a tricky and challenging course due to the length of the long par 3’s where many golfers need a wood to reach.

The course is situated on the edge of Sutton Park leading to some rewarding views across the La Reserve lake, especially on the 17th and the 18th. The large lake has been known to punish any stray tee shots.

Aside from the challenge, the course is constantly kept in fine condition that will allow you to enjoy the round regardless of how you are faring. That is thanks to the excellent work continually carried out by the greenkeeping staff. This is an ideal venue for your golf group or society to add to your list of regularly frequented venues and certainly one if you are looking for a new regular golf course.
