Course Description

Set in the glorious Wiltshire countryside close to the medieval city of Salisbury, both of the downland courses at Salisbury & South Wiltshire Golf Club offer magnificent views for miles and miles around.

The testing Cathedral Course is an 18-hole layout that has been in play since 1991, carefully combining holes from the Old Course and new ones built in 1989.

South West Counties Championships and County Championships are regularly played here, and the annual Pro-Am is regarded as one of the most highly regarded and best supported events in the West Region – with some European Tour players even known to have played in these events.

In addition to the Cathedral Course is the more easy-going nine-hole Bibury Course, which has been developed from the Old Course at the club dating back to 1888 – meaning it boasts some of the oldest holes in the whole of Wiltshire.

The golf holes are easy walking, occasionally playing over Salisbury Racecourse, and the wonderful views across the Wiltshire landscape towards Salisbury and Old Sarum are really something special.
