Course Description

First opened in 1921, The Shipley Golf Club was designed by renowned golf course architect Dr Alister MacKenzie and is tucked away in a beautiful mature wooded valley.

Long been known as one of the best courses in the Yorkshire area, The Shipley Golf Club is a regular venue for the Yorkshire County and Bradford Union fixtures, whilst also being home of the Bradford and District Union of Golf Clubs.

The course itself provides a test to golfers of any standard with skill and accuracy examined in equal measure.

Unusually, The Shipley has six par-3's on its layout, one of which is the course’s signature hole, the seventh.

Shipley is a relatively flat, easy walking course but we do also have five buggies to hire out.

The practice range is available and an ideal warm up prior to your game, with range ball tokens available from the Professional shop.

As well as the par-3's, there are seven par-4's and five fair par-5's.

Away from the course, the wonderful club boasts a wide range of facilities that you can make the most of, including a bar, a lounge and a fully stocked pro shop.
