Course Description

Holme Hall was formed in 1908 on natural heathland with an abundance of stunning gorse, broom and heather, making for a truly wonderful, traditional test of golf.

It stretches to 6,404 yards with a par of 71 and is a regular host venue of the prestigious Lincolnshire Amateur and Open Championships, attended by many of the best amateurs in the local area.

Its most famous honorary member is Tony Jacklin, the former Ryder Cup player who played much of his junior golf on the course. The club still proudly exhibits both his and Tom Weiskopf’s scorecards when they both scored 63 in 1971.

In recent years, a new course irrigation system has been introduced to incorporate greens, tees and fairways, making the golf course playable throughout the entire golfi ng season. A large lake holding three million gallons of water was also built on the side of the 17th fairway.

The course – which features many tree-lined fairways - is now a well-established habitat for numerous species of wildlife and is regarded as one of the most forward-thinking golf clubs in the area.
