Course Description

Kinross Golf Club is a historic and beautiful place where you can enjoy not only one, but two rounds of golf, with the option of two fantastic courses to play all year round.

First established in 1884, the club is accessible from both Edinburgh and Glasgow, as it is only half an hour and an hour from Scotland’s major cities and is only a short drive from Gleneagles. The more senior and demanding of the two courses is the Montgomery Course, which includes 19 expertly placed bunkers, a pond and various lengthy holes which are difficult to score from. The 443 yard 18th is arguably the toughest on the course, which requires a long drive and an accurate shot to a difficult green.

The Bruce Course is slightly shorter and easier but is still highly regarded by golfers in the area and boasts views of Loch Leven.

You'll find everything you need in our fully stocked Pro Shop; from leading brand clubs, balls, accessories and clothing to snacks and drinks. You can also hire clubs and ride on buggies. Our resident PGA Golf Professional is also on hand to offer advice and lessons.

The course would appear to offer an easy start to your round with four par 5s on the front nine, but they are by no means simple birdie holes. Kinross also boasts a recently refurbished 19th hole hospitality where you can enjoy food, drinks and entertainment after your golf, making it the perfect place for golf outings.
