Course Description

Only a 30-minute drive from the heart of Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh, Craigielaw Golf Club only opened in 2001 but it has proven to be immensely successful in the time since then. Firmly establishing itself as one of the premier venues on a stretch of coastline blessed with an abundance of great golf clubs.

Its golf course was designed by the late Donald Steel and bears all the hallmarks of a top quality, championship links – a fact reinforced by its selection to host many high-profile events, including the 2006 Scottish Amateur Strokeplay Championship and qualifying for the 2007 Senior Open Championship at Muirfield.

With challenging greens, cavernous bunkers and spectacular views over the Firth of Forth, Gullane Hill and out towards Edinburgh and Fife, Craigielaw Golf Club is an experience not to be missed.

The club also has a great six-hole, par-3 course, which is a great place to practice and hone your skills, whilst there is on-site accommodation if you want to spread your visit over two or more days.

The Lodge is a fantastic place to rest your weary head after a long but invigorating day on what is, unquestionably, one of East Lothian’s finest layouts.
