Course Description

HAVING HOSTED many R&A events throughout its history as well as being an Open Championship final qualifying venue, Barassie has welcomed some of the greats of the game to its links. Rahm, McIlroy and Olazabal have all visited here and enjoyed a course full of humps, hollows and stunning sea views. Recently, it was host to the Women's Amateur Championship. Founded in 1887, it takes up residence on the Ayrshire coast and, despite some illustrious company, it more than holds its own as a formidable and enjoyable test of golf.
