Course Description

Founded in 1913, Dore & Totley is a mature parkland course that is probably the least undulating in the Sheffield area, with its subtle features making it an excellent test of golf.

Situated in Bradway, south of Sheffield and close to the Derbyshire Peak District, there are 23 holes here – the original 18-hole, par-70 course that is still played during the winter and a new, challenging par-72 course, including five additional holes, that opened in 2005 and is played from spring to autumn.

Visitors can experience many of the challenges enjoyed by such great players as George Duncan, Abe Mitchell, Harry Vardon and Tony Jacklin on their competitive visits to our course.

Former professionals at the club, meanwhile, include the internationally acclaimed Pete Cowen, who has coached several of the world’s best players, including Henrik Stenson, Lee Westwood and Thomas Bjorn.

Societies are welcome on most days at Dore & Totley, including Saturdays, subject to tee time availability. The club is now attracting more visitors than ever before, testament to the efforts of everyone at the club to offer a first-class golf offering that has visitors returning year after year.
